Description: Established Hollywood neighborhood restaurant The Corner is proud to unveil its latest late-night concept Next Door Lounge, located directly “next door” to the cozy eatery off Highland Avenue. Owner Ferris Wehbe created the space where both locals and destination diners can unwind without the typical Hollywood list policy. A few blocks from Sunset, Next Door allows guests to enjoy innovative cocktails and contemporary bites that are recession-proof in a sleek, speak easy-inspired space reminiscent of the 1920s when industry, flappers, and the rise of Hollywoodland’s black and white films reigned supreme.

Once guests pass through the metal, reclaimed double doors, they are transported to a space suggestive of a dynamic industrial facility combined with the imagery of a time when Hollywood was a mere ingénue at the start of its illustrious career. Several living room vignettes comprised of oversized leather couches, high-back chairs and antiqued cocktail tables create a comfortable setting for guests to be absorbed in casual conversation as silent black and white films are projected on the dining room wall. Larger groups can enjoy sumptuous cocktails and delectable bites at the two communal dinner tables situated at the front of the large frosted-glass windows that have the tendency to cultivate curiosity from passers-by wondering about the mysterious silhouettes bustling inside.
