Description: Website states: Hal's 40-foot wood and stainless steel bar is home to some of the city's friendliest bartenders and speicalty cocktails, such as Liam's Cantaloupe Martini. We also offer an extensive list of wines, both by the glass and the bottle. Join us on Tuesday & Wednesday nights where we feature several of our wines 1/2 price.
Hal's has live jazz every Sunday night from 8-11 pm, Monday night from 9pm-12am with no cover charge. Come enjoy the musical stylings of such internationally acclaimed musicians as Thom Rotella, Cal Bennet, Jon Bolivar, Louis Taylor, Vince Wilburn, John Nau and Greg Poree

Hours: Hal's is open until 2 am seven days a week and sesrves food all day. Brunch: Saturday - Sunday, 10:00am - 3:00pm Lunch:Monday - Friday, 11:30am - 3:00pm Dinner: Sunday-Thursday, 5:30pm-10:30pm Friday - Saturday, 5:30pm - 11:00pm.Bar Menu: 3-7 pm and late night after dinner until 12:30 sun-thurs, 1:00 am on fri/sat.

Overview:

I was taking a walk one day and came across Hal's. I heard good things about it so I decided to stop in for an early dinner. I got right in without a reservation, but I think anytime after 6:30 you should make one because it got super crowded!

I loved everything I had, and I ordered quite a bit. For an appetizer I started with the baby artichokes which was a nice start to the dinner. Just enough so I wasn't full before my meal came. For my main course I ordered the charred rib-eye steak which was really good.

It was massive so I boxed it up and ate it the next day- and it still tasted just as good. Even though I was super full, I ordered dessert because I always have to end the meal with something sweet.

I ordered the bread pudding which ended the meal perfectly for me. It was amazing! One of the best I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend this place!
