Overview:

Always stopped in for this sandwich during my break from class. Nice country style set up with various counters - deli section, sweets section, organic chips and drinks. I don't even like mayonnaise, but this sandwich on a baguette was always perfect and the only thing I came into the store for besides a brownie or lemon bar. Overall, great homemade goods that remind me of home.

Overview:

Malibu Kitchen is an upscale gourmet / deli located in Malibu Country Mart by the Lumber Yard.

The tuna salad wrap toasted, with guacamole initially did not sound the greatest but it is amazing! I went back for it multiple times while staying in Malibu. It is large so you may want to share or only eat half at a time.

To order, I would know what you want when you get to the counter. Don't expect a lot of conversation! They will give you a ticket so you can pay while you wait for your food.

If you are heading to the beach and need to grab some food, this is a great place to go. The dessert counter looks amazing but I haven't tried it yet.
